  • (NMSSA) National Monitoring Study of Student Achievement – Wānangatia te Putanga Tauira

In 2014 an annual programme to assess and understand student achievement across the curriculum in years 4 and 8 in English-medium schools assessed student achievement at year 4 and year 8 in two areas of the New Zealand Curriculum (NZC) – English: reading and social studies. These reports examine a range of contextual data collected from students, teachers, and principals in relation to the social studies part of the study.
